The head of the Moscow Butyrsky district council Yenok Akopov told Vechernaya Moskva how he spends his working day and what he considers the main thing in his work.

Enok Akopov’s morning starts at 6:15 with an alarm clock.

– Everything is normal for me in the morning. Traditional morning routines, pack up fast and I’m good to go,” she says. I don’t have breakfast at home.

At seven, Enok Yurievich leaves home and goes to work.

– I get to the Butyrsky district in 20 minutes, during which I can look at the list of things planned for the day and get acquainted with regional news on social networks. But when I go to the district itself, I’m not in a hurry to go to the council, Akopov explains.

His working day begins with a detour through the territory.

“During this detour, I pay main attention to the tourist streets of the Butyrsky district and the passages within the block,” says Enok Akopov.

If in winter the attention of the head of the council is focused on the quality of snow removal, then in summer the main task is to monitor the general sanitary condition of the area.

— I look at the cleanliness of the streets. In addition, the order must be at public transport stops, – explains the head of the council. – If I see any inconsistencies, such as vandalism inscriptions, and unfortunately this happens, I immediately call the public services. They get the proper order and everything is quickly removed.

Meanwhile, the hands of the clock are approaching eight in the morning. The morning detour ends and the head of the council heads to his office.

— And now my day continues with a cup of strong black coffee without sugar. It’s such a nice tradition for me,” she admits.

In literally ten minutes, there is a small operational meeting with deputies on the program. At the work meeting, the existing plans are discussed and corrected, and if comments arise during the tour, the head of the council gives new instructions.

Also, after the morning meeting, Yenok Akopov begins to work with documents and letters from citizens. By the way, every letter sent to the council is personally read by them.

— On average, we receive about 90 letters in a business week. And this without taking into account the appeals of the residents of the district, who go to the Our City portal and social networks, ”says Akopov. — I study them carefully, I make a decision on each request. Thus, imperceptibly, the first half of the day flies by.

At about 2 pm, Enok Akopov sets out on the next detour through the district, but already through the courtyards.

– Now, in the summer, active work is being done on overhauling houses and landscaping. I watch the progress of its implementation, meet and communicate with residents,” says Akopov. – A mandatory security control of the children’s and sports fields is also in the plans.

According to the head of the council, every day he inspects at least 80 percent of the district’s territory. By the way, there are 141 yards in the Butyrsky district.

As the official notes, the main thing in his work is the creation of safe and comfortable conditions for residents.

“I always tell you that you are our eyes and our ears. And only together, together, can we make our beloved district even better and more beautiful,” says Enok Akopov.
