— Today, after reconstruction, we open one of the most popular pavilions — Pinnipeds. Sea lions, walruses and sea lions already live in the new house. You can also look at pinnipeds from the street, through the windows, – noted Sobyanin.
In total, 36 marine animals can live in the pavilion.
Also on the territory of the zoo there is an exhibition “The mysterious world of amphibians”. Alexander Gatilov, the chief zoologist of the Moscow Zoo and the keeper of the exhibition, told more about the inhabitants of the exhibition.
Before that, it was reported that for the first time in its history, rare kea parrots appeared in the open exhibition of the zoo – the only predators among parrots.
